You can donate 2 units of blood in a single appointment. Read more in our "ALYX" brochure. |

You can donate blood to yourself prior to an upcoming operation, with your physician's approval. Read more about this option in our "Patient Care" section, or in our "Autologous Donations" brochure. |

Automated Donations allow you to donate a specific component of your blood, such as platelets or plasma. |

Directed Donations allow you to donate blood to a friend or family member specifically if your blood types are compatible. Read more in our "Directed Donations" brochure. |

Precious Pints is a program that was developed by The Blood Alliance to help ensure that fresh blood is always on the shelf for infants needing transfusions. Read more and find out if you qualify for this special program in our "Precious Pints" section. |

Therapeutic Procedures are used to treat diseases characterized by the body's excess production of red blood cells or excess levels of iron (hemochromatosis) or heme by-products. Read more in our "Patient Care" section. |
